Lissette has over 10 years of experience in education. She currently functions as elementary school administrator in Chicago's western suburbs.  Lissette is passionate about connecting with other Latinas after her own experiences showed a lack of representation at the leadership level.  Her interests include education, networking, fashion, and travel.  Lissette hopes to show that being a Leading Latina does not require a loss of identity. Instead of attempting to achieve a work-life balance, she emphasizes the importance of work-life integration.
